PHLDiversity a division of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) Executive Committee members have established a Scholarship Fund in partnership with Pennsylvania Meeting Professional International Chapter (PAMPI) to honor Jack Ferguson, President & CEO PHLCVB for his years of dedicated service promoting Philadelphia's diverse communities creating economic impact hosting meetings and conventions.

As the President & CEO of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB), Jack Ferguson has more than 42 years experience in the hospitality business and is known for his energized, can-do leadership style. Jack’s has been centered on three areas – enhancing the customer experience, maximizing marketing and technology and educating the Philadelphia region’s workforce.
The Philadelphia Area Chapter of MPI, established in 1978, empowers its members to increase their strategic value with education, professional development and business growth opportunities. Philadelphia Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PAMPI) is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of meeting professionals through education, connections and leadership development.
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest and most vibrant global meeting and event industry association. The organization provides innovative and relevant education, networking opportunities and business exchanges, and acts as a prominent voice for the promotion and growth of the industry. MPI membership is comprised of approximately 18,500 members belonging to more than 80 chapters and clubs in 22 countries.
The scholarship fund will ensure each year a minority meeting professional will receive sponsorship to attend the Annual MPI World Education Conference.
